Chassis Damping Control

Chassis Damping Control responds up to every 5 milliseconds to adjust suspension damping to road and driving conditions for improved ride and handling. Selectable driving modes allow this to be tailored to Touring, Sport or Off-Road preferences.

Powerful Engine

The 3.6L V6 engine, available on Premium Luxury and standard on Sport model, stands apart with 310 hp and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2.0L Turbo engine, standard on Luxury and Premium Luxury models, has 235 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque with premium fuel. Both engines deliver innovative technologies such as Active Fuel Management.

Electronic Precision Shift

Electronic Precision Shift moves you from Park to Drive with a simple gesture. It also puts you in command of an advanced 9-speed automatic transmission that is both efficient and responsive.

Driver Mode Selector

With an array of driver-select modes, the XT5 compact luxury SUV grants you dominion over your drive. The freedom of available All-Wheel Drive is expanded by Touring, Off-Road and Sport calibrations, while Front-Wheel-Drive models deliver the confidence of Snow/Ice, Touring and Sport modes.

Performance Braking

Racing respects Brembo®, an innovator and manufacturer of high performance brake systems. Brembo performance front brakes—plus eye-catching front and rear red-painted calipers—are standard on the Sport model, providing precise, consistent braking, as well as visual flair.

Premium Materials

This is an interior suited for greatness. Cadillac designers equip the XT5 cabin with authentic materials—including cut-and-sewn leather, natural wood and Carbon Fiber trim with Galvano accents—for a strong finish.

Reconfigurable Space

The rear seats can be folded flat to provide up to 63 cubic feet of max space. And with 60/40 split fold functionality, nothing gets left behind.

Premium Front Seating

The XT5 rewards the driver and front passenger with unrivaled comfort. Heated front seats come standard. An 8-way power driver seat adjuster and 6-way power front passenger seat adjuster are also standard.

Available options—including heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats and 2-way power lumbar control for driver and front passenger—can help add even more pleasure to the drive

Air Quality And Climate Control

An Air Ionizer helps to filter the air inside the vehicle by reducing pollen, odors and dust. Standard Dual-Zone Climate Control offers individual climate settings for the driver and front passenger. Available Tri-Zone Climate Control extends individual settings to the rear passengers,—as well.

Ultraview Sunroof

The available UltraView® panoramic sunroof spans both the front and rear seats, bathing the cabin in warm, natural light.

Bose Audio System

A crisp, powerful listening experience is standard with 8 premium speakers that have been acoustically tuned to provide optimal quality in the XT5. The available Bose Performance Series 14-speaker audio system adds even more speakers throughout the vehicle.

Visionary Lighting

Our jewel-like headlamps aren’t mere ornamentation. Our standard LED headlamps feature IntelliBeam auto high-beam assist, which can automatically switch between high and low beams as vehicles approach, while cornering lamps cast light into corners as you take them.

20" Alloy Wheels

No matter what type of road you take on, make a statement with 20" alloy wheels—standard on Premium Luxury (shown). For spirited driving enthusiasts, the XT5 Sport features standard 20" wheels and dark exterior accents.

Hands-Free Power Liftgate

No free hands? No problem. An available hands-free power liftgate uses a foot sensor underneath the rear of the XT5 to access storage with ease. Open sesame.

Exterior Design

Details make the difference. Distinctive grille designs and finishes give XT5 a bold face, as sharp lines and sweeping curves meet jewel-like headlamps and taillamps for unquestionable style.

The XT5 Sport model turns heads with accents like a mesh grille, roof rails, side-window surround and red-painted brake calipers.

Night Vision System

When selected, the available Night Vision system can help you see beyond your headlamps with a thermal image that highlights detected pedestrians or large animals directly ahead of the vehicle—helping to instill confidence on night drives.

Cadillac User Experience

The Cadillac User Experience is designed to help you remain connected on the road. The available built-in Wi-Fi® Hotspot turns your XT5 into a reliable mobile hub that supports connection with up to 7 devices from up to 50 feet away. With access to phone and a library of additional In-Vehicle apps, the world is in the palm of your hand, at the tip of your finger and the sound of your voice.

Enjoy added peace of mind knowing help and support is there if needed. Your XT5 arrives equipped with available OnStar® safety services and with access to Cadillac Connected Services.

USB Ports

Power is luxury. With four USB ports and two 12-volt power outlets, the XT5 lets you charge your devices on the road, wherever the drive takes you.

Amazon Alexa Built-In

With available Alexa Built-in, you can use Alexa in your vehicle the same way you do at home. Ask Alexa to check your calendar, add to shopping list, play your favorite playlist or even control compatible SmartHome devices from your vehicle. Also, with the myCadillac skill for Alexa, you can use your Alexa device at home to send remote commands to your vehicle—try “Alexa, start my Cadillac.”

Front Pedestrian Braking

Front Pedestrian Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a pedestrian it detects directly ahead of you. It provides pedestrian alerts and can even automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. The system works at speeds between 5 and 50 mph during the daytime. It has limited nighttime and low visibility performance.

Automatic Emergency Braking

At speeds above 5 mph and up to highway speeds, Automatic Emergency Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a detected vehicle you’re following. Camera technology is used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.

Forward Collision Alert

Forward Collision Alert can warn you if it detects a potential front-end collision with a vehicle you’re following, so you can take action. It can also provide a tailgating alert if you’re following a vehicle much too closely.

Safety Alert Seat

Safety Alert Seat uses left, right or both-side driver seat vibration pulses to help you identify the direction of potential crashes. You can also switch to beeping crash avoidance alerts.

Rear Park Assist

Rear Park Assist can provide alerts to nearby detected objects behind your vehicle to help you park and avoid collisions when in Reverse at low speeds.

HD Rear Vision Camera

HD Rear Vision Camera shows you a high-resolution digital image of the area directly behind your vehicle when in Reverse to help you park and avoid vehicles and objects. You can also display an overlap of where your vehicle is heading.
